but don't let yourself be intimidated, just take the yarn double :
double yarn : needles n° 4,5 mm
alpaca - coast blend : needles n° 5 mm
alpaca - kid mohair blend : aneedles n° 6 mm
As with all alpacas Titicaca is extremely soft, slightly fluffy.
Knitted in single yarn, you can make lace works like the romantic Scarf 1 from the Danish designer knit1. Wear it around your neck or as a headband.
When the yarn is doubled or mixed with other yarns, the combinations are almost unlimited.
Combine Titicaca with Lino and you have the Nice T-Shirt by Anne Ventzel or the Bonus jacket by Hyggestrik.
And the numerous shades allow you to create very subtle gradations.
