You can make fascinating gradient works with them.

Take a look at Andrea Mowry's designs, who likes to work on gradient patterns. This is also the yarn of the beautiful Utu top down cardigan, which was on the cover of Laine 2 magazine in 2017. One of my all-time favourites!

There is nothing to stop you from "gradienting" a model either. Yamagara's Ren Sweater would be a good example.
