Inspired by the beautiful Mount Sajama, the highest mountain in Bolivia, Sayama not only captures the essence of this stunning landscape and the Lamas that inhabit its slopes, but also embodies the rich cultural heritage of the Aymara people, known for their deep spiritual connection with nature and sustainable practices.
By combining the luxurious llama wool with the wool of the highland sheep, we offer you a perfectly balanced yarn that is both light and durable.
Sayama's colours are inspired by the vibrant Bolivian culture. They blend the rich hues of llama wool - from pure white to deep black - with the soft shades of sheep's wool to create a diverse palette that reflects the spirit of the region.
Sayama is manufactured in Bolivia in a factory in the heart of El Alto and is certified according to Eco Text 100. Although there are no general organic certifications for llama wool yet, Pascuali takes responsibility for the welfare of the animals involved in the production process, thus ensuring both quality and ethical standards.
