We delve into the world of slip stitches, exploring multicolored slip-stitch patterns and three-dimensional textured designs. These techniques are combined with intarsia to create multicolored textures and three-dimensional patterns.
Anna’s first book, Intarsia Knits, published in October 2024, includes 12 knitting patterns that explore the intarsia technique and its variations. In 3 of these projects, Anna combines two-colored slip-stitch patterns and textured designs with intarsia, breaking up linear patterns with graphic shapes.

Anna Husemann is a textile and knitwear designer based in Hamburg. During her master’s degree in textile design, she discovered her love for colorful patterns and focused on eco-friendly materials and sustainable textiles. Her work revolves around the interplay of color, form, and material, which she expresses primarily through the intarsia knitting technique.

Please bring:
Needles size 3–5 mm
Yarn leftovers in at least 3 colors

Workshop info:
Basic knitting skills required. The workshop will be held in German, English and French and Luxembourgish. Don't worry, we are used to switching back and forth.

89 €, without additional materials. One hot drink and water are included in the course fee.
