Knit in nature 1 – Moselle

Meeting point: 10:00 AM at the Biodiversum in Remerschen.

This first Knit in nature walk takes us to the Luxembourg Moselle region, around Remerschen. We’ll cross the nature reserve before heading up into the vineyards, with peaceful knitting breaks along the way.

Easy 6 km walk, starting along the ponds of the nature reserve, then continuing on paved vineyard paths. One solid uphill section (it’s vineyard country, after all) and a descent via steps.
Meeting point: 10:00 AM at the Biodiversum in Remerschen.

The project will be delivered in a handmade project bag by Knit by Row.
We’ll be knitting socks using hand-dyed yarn by Tréliz. As always, you’ll get to choose your colour in advance — either something soft and neutral, or a shade inspired by the landscape we’ll be walking through.
Bring your favourite sock needles — DPNs, circulars for magic loop, or craSy Trios, whichever you prefer. A small selection of needles will be available on site.

Extra info :

Bring your own picnic and something to sit on for extra comfort during our breaks — benches and stone steps will be our resting spots.
The walk will take place in all weather conditions, so dress accordingly. If it rains too much, we’ll find shelter to keep knitting dry.
Either way, you’ll receive your project bag and yarn, even if the weather ends up keeping you away.
