Coast is a blend of merino and cotton, which makes it a perfect yarn for the in-between seasons. A nice yarn for cool mornings, which keeps soft when it gets warmer during the day.
As the yarn is extremely fine, I tend to double it. This makes it possible to play with combinations of yarns of different tones. Gradients, when you put together shades that are close to each other. Chinés when you choose more contrasting tones.
Another option is to double the yarn with a matching strand of mohair.
