Onion is a Danish brand, but the yarn is made in Italy.
70% superwash wool, 30% nettle fibre
50 gr = 185 m
needles n° 2.25 - 2.5
sample, stockinette: 10 x 10 cm = 28 sts x 38 rws
This wool is perfect for knitting mid-season socks, as it is a little softer and lighter to the touch than a 100% wool sock yarn. I personally prefer to use 2.25 needles, as the fibre tends to relax when washed.
You will need two balls to knit a pair of socks.
That said, it's not limited to socks and would work well with Centaurea, Yarnflakes' jumper with textured patterns where you least expect them.
