Bio Shetland is a rustic Shetland wool.
It comes from farms in South America and is spun and dyed in Turkey.
Bio Shetland is so called because it resembles wool from the Shetland Islands (where there are no GOTS certified farms yet) and is suitable for any Fair Isle project.
Bio Shetland comes in an incredible range of colours.
Alice Hammer has designed 2 cardigans and 2 accessories in Bio Shetland (Club Tricot 1).
All the patterns in the Shetland Wool Adventures Journal vol.3 can be knitted in Bio Shetland or Pip Colourwork (baa ram ewe).
