Baby Yak Lace is made of yak down from the Tibetan plains. The breeders collect it by combing the animal. Pure luxury!

The yarn is very fine. You can knit it in single, double or triple.

Designer Isabell Kraemer knits it in double, both for her Vaike shawl and her Fjolla sweater. Rievive also for her Machi jumper.
Single knitting makes it look wispy and elegant. Carrie Bostick Hoge's Seaside scarf would be perfect with a suit. The Lizzie cardigan by Cocoknits with a cocktail dress.

The small Dawa top by Yamagara is alternately knitted in double or single. For a subtle play of contrast.
